Originally from Sydney, Phibs has been based in Melbourne since 2001.
Coming from a traditional graffiti background, Phibs has recently been focusing more on gallery work and experimenting with different materials, mediums and ways to promote his artwork.
His remarkably detailed works can be seem all around Melbourne city, and in particular around the inner city suburbs of Fitzroy and Collingwood.
Whilst Phibs signature style is his intricate, almost stencil-like delineated forms and cutback methods, his work is visibly influenced by the art and mythology of many cultures, both ancient and modern.
